Human Resources Analyst
  • Benefits & Risk (Temporary)
Location:
Carrollton | Onsite Compensation & Schedule $25.00 per hour Monday
  • Thursday 7:30 AM
  • 5:30 PM; Friday 7:30 AM
  • 11:30 AM Temporary assignment (long-term through end of year) Start date: Immediate Role Impact This role supports the municipality's Workforce Services team by ensuring effective administration of Benefits and Risk programs.
The Human Resources Analyst serves as a primary point of contact for employees, departments, and citizens regarding claims, safety, and wellness initiatives. Success in this role means timely claims processing, accurate reporting, proactive risk mitigation, and responsive service to internal and external stakeholders. Serve as primary point of contact for Benefits and Risk-related inquiries from employees, departments, insurance carriers, and citizens Partner with insurance carriers to ensure property, fleet, and workers' compensation claims are processed accurately and on time Generate reports and analyze claims data to identify trends and recommend process improvements Coordinate with Fleet to ensure all municipal vehicles are properly insured and documented Assist with subrogation efforts to recover eligible funds Conduct safety inspections and audits as part of the municipality's Safety Program Support and help manage the Safety Review Committee Assist with oversight of the municipality's Wellness Program and Employee Health & Wellness Center operations Support annual Open Enrollment activities Maintain Workforce Services SharePoint and website content to ensure accuracy and compliance Review and provide recommendations on policies and Administrative Directives Provide guidance to administrative staff and support special projects as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field One year of experience in human resources, administrative support, risk management, or project coordination SmarterU certification or ability to obtain within six months of employment Equipment & Work Environment Office environment within City Hall Frequent computer use including HRIS (Human Resources Information System), reporting tools, and SharePoint Regular interaction with employees, department leaders, insurance representatives, and the public May involve site visits for safety inspections Preferred Skills SHRM-CP or PHR certification Knowledge of workers' compensation, subrogation, and municipal risk management practices Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting claims data Legal Notice By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
