Job Description

Training Specialist - Client Onboarding The Woodlands, TX About the role AllianceHCM is looking for a highly engaging, empathetic, and technically adept Training Specialist to fully own the educational strategy for clients onboarding to our platform. You'll design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs that empower client administrators and mid-level managers to confidently navigate our proprietary HCM software. This role is the engine behind user adoption — ensuring every client goes live not just with access to the platform, but with the knowledge and confidence to use it well. It's the right fit for someone who can translate complex software workflows into clear, approachable guidance and who takes genuine pride in seeing clients succeed. What you'll do Design, develop, and continuously maintain a robust curriculum of training materials — including instructional guides, video tutorials, interactive webinars, and SCORM-compliant e-learning modules focused on AllianceHCM functionality. Conduct live virtual and in-person instructor-led training sessions for client administrators, tailoring the presentation to each client's unique system configuration and organizational deployment. Translate complex HCM, payroll, and benefits workflows into clear, jargon-free guidance accessible to learners across all levels of technological proficiency. Partner closely with Onboarding Project Managers to synchronize training delivery timelines with the broader implementation schedule, ensuring clients are fully prepared at go-live. Analyze user feedback and system adoption metrics post-training to continuously iterate and improve training methodologies. Update all training resources in alignment with ongoing software release cycles and new feature deployments. Deliver targeted advanced instruction on specialized platform modules, including talent acquisition, performance management, and mobile application utilization. What we're looking for 3+ years of experience in corporate training or software implementation training within HR or SaaS. Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills across both physical and virtual environments. Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS). Strong foundational understanding of human resources and payroll operations. Ability to independently manage curriculum design, content updates, and training delivery across multiple concurrent client engagements. Nice to have Experience training on HCM platforms such as UKG, Ceridian Dayforce, Workday, or isolved. Familiarity with SCORM standards and instructional design methodologies. Background in change management or user adoption strategies for enterprise software rollouts. Experience building role-based training tracks for diverse learner audiences.
