Bilingual (Spanish) -Human Resources Generalist

Seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Human Resources Generalist with 3-5 years of experience preferably in a manufacturing or distribution center environment.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Human Resources Generalist provides assistance to the Human Resources Manager in carrying out various tasks that support the day-to-day operations of the HR department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide HR advisory services covering HR laws to employees, supervisors, and managers. Reviewing HR laws and comparing them to existing policies and procedures, creating HR document templates, and collaborating with other department members. Partner with supervisors and managers on employee issues and corrective actions. Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new hires. Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and compliance. Conduct pre-employment and post-accident drug tests. Complete wage and employment verifications for requesting agencies. Assist with benefits administration and education for employees. Prepares reports and human resources information as requested. Organize and promote company engagement activities and functions. Assist employees with questions or concerns. Update company communication avenues. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

Associates or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred 3-5 years human resources experience preferred

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS systems. Ability to function cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with peers and personnel in other departments Ability to keep company and customer information that is discussed or viewed while under employment with Truvant confidential Ability to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, work instructions including but not limited to: Truvant policies, customer specific policies, ISO, GMP's, USDA, regulatory food safety and food defense
