Position Summary The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for supporting daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining accurate employee records. This role plays a key part in employee relations, hiring processes, and maintaining a positive workplace environment. Key Responsibilities Employee Relations & Discipline Trained in delivering both verbal and written warnings in a professional and compliant manner Assist in resolving employee concerns and maintaining workplace standards Recruitment & Hiring Conduct and support interviews and hiring processes Coordinate candidate screening, scheduling, and onboarding steps Onboarding & Orientation Lead new hire orientation to ensure employees understand company policies, procedures, and expectations Prepare onboarding materials and guide new employees through initial setup Recordkeeping & Documentation Maintain and update employee files and folders with accuracy and confidentiality Ensure all documentation is current and compliant with HR policies Workplace Safety & Reporting Familiar with handling and documenting injury reports Assist with maintaining workplace safety records and compliance Confidentiality & Compliance Ensure proper handling of sensitive employee information Demonstrate knowledge of maintaining employee privacy in accordance with company policies and legal standards Communication Skills Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written) Communicate effectively with a diverse workforce Qualifications Strong organizational and communication skills Knowledge of HR procedures and best practices Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Experience in hiring, onboarding, and employee relations preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred or required
