Job Description

The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the new hire process to ensure a seamless and compliant onboarding experience. This role involves managing background checks, drug testing, and I-9 verification while maintaining accurate records and supporting a fast-paced operational environment. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer service orientation are essential for success in this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
New Hire Processing:
Initiate and monitor background checks, schedule drug tests, and complete I-9 verification for all new hires.
Compliance & Documentation:
Maintain accurate digital and physical employee records to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Candidate Support:
Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during the onboarding process, providing clear communication and guidance.
Workflow Management:
Track onboarding progress and proactively address delays to ensure timely completion of all steps.
Collaboration:
Work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and other internal teams to facilitate a smooth transition for new employees.
Additional Duties:
Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 18 years of age or older. Eligible to work in the United States. Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking).
Experience:
Minimum 2 plus years in HR, recruitment coordination, or onboarding; experience in aviation or regulated industries preferred.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Familiarity with TSA/FAA background check requirements and E-Verify protocols is a plus. Attention to

Ability to maintain accuracy in documentation and compliance processes.
Technical Skills:
