Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Specialist to support and manage HR operations within a compliance-driven healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of labor laws, healthcare regulations, and HR best practices. This role is responsible for overseeing the full employee lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance, and serving as a trusted liaison between employees, clients, and management. A key aspect of this position involves effectively addressing concerns raised by both employees and clients, while maintaining seamless communication and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Compliance & Policy Management Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as healthcare-specific regulations. Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and compliance documentation. Conduct internal audits related to credentialing, licensure, and healthcare standards. Employee Lifecycle Management Manage end-to-end onboarding, including credential verification, compliance training, and system setup. Oversee employee offboarding and terminations, ensuring proper documentation and legal compliance. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including certifications and training requirements. Employee Relations & Engagement Address and resolve employee concerns, including those from clinical staff such as phlebotomy technicians. Act as a liaison between employees, clients, and management to ensure effective communication. Provide guidance on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management. Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance retention and workplace satisfaction. Workforce Planning & Development Collaborate with hiring managers to support workforce planning and timely staffing. Assist in succession planning and employee career development initiatives. Coordinate training programs focused on compliance, safety, and professional growth. HR Operations & Administration Support benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HRIS management. Prepare HR reports and assist with compliance audits. Monitor HR metrics (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, employee satisfaction) and recommend improvements. Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace culture. Strategic HR Support Partner with leadership to design and implement workforce development strategies. Support organizational change management and process improvement efforts. Serve as a trusted advisor, balancing business objectives with employee needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 3+ years of HR experience in the healthcare industry (required). Strong knowledge of labor laws, healthcare compliance regulations, and HR best practices. Proven experience managing onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations. Familiarity with healthcare credentialing requirements and compliance standards. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Competencies Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities High attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
