Job Description

Support the people side of the business where it matters most. As an HR Generalist at ColonialWebb, you'll be the frontline resource for employees—owning onboarding, supporting employee experience, and ensuring HR processes run smoothly. This role is critical in delivering a consistent, responsive, and people-focused HR experience across the organization. Perks of Joining ColonialWebb Competitive salary Career development and progression 401(k) with company match PTO and paid holidays Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits Employee Assistance Program Employee referral incentives A Day in the Life Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions related to benefits, policies, and HR processes Support onboarding activities including orientations, I-9 completion, system access, and day-one readiness Maintain HR data integrity, audit records, and coordinate corrections across systems Support employee engagement initiatives including surveys, events, and wellness programs Handle first-level employee relations matters and escalate as needed Conduct exit interviews, track trends, and share insights with HR leadership Assist with training coordination and support execution of HR programs at the local level You Should Have 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources or a related role preferred Exposure to onboarding, employee support, or HR data administration High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred Basic knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills High attention to detail with strong organization and follow-up skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Comfortable working independently while collaborating with HR and operations teams EOE M/W/Disability/Vets Veterans and those with previous military experience are encouraged to apply Comfort Systems USA is composed of more than 45 operating companies in over 170 locations across the United States.
