starting at $55,000/year +benefits Job Summary Cornerstone Staffing Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Human Resources Generalist for a direct hire opportunity with a client in Southwest, VA. This role supports daily HR operations and plays a key part in ensuring a positive employee experience, compliance, and efficient administrative processes. Key Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day HR operations and administrative tasks Support recruitment efforts including job postings, scheduling interviews, and candidate communication Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy in HRIS systems Assist with onboarding and new hire orientation processes Coordinate benefits enrollment and respond to employee inquiries Support payroll processing and timekeeping as needed Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws Assist with employee engagement initiatives and HR projects Qualifications 2+ years of experience in an HR, administrative, or support role Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options Opportunity for growth and advancement Why Join Us?
