Job Description

Virginia Pediatric Group is seeking a Human Resources Generalist with 2 to 5 years of experience, preferably in the medical field.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local and federal regulations Contact applicant's references and perform background checks required by the company Ensure all hiring paperwork is completed accurately and that new employees are effectively guided through their onboarding process from day one and beyond Explain and provide information on employee benefits, process new and annual enrollments, status changes, and terminations Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution Cover all legal compliance for human resources, federal and state requirements Maintain employee records and paperwork Ensure the organization's compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently Maintain company organization charts and employee directory Partner with the Office Administrator to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives Analyze trends in compensation and benefits Perform other duties to support operational activities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or and equivalent combination of education and experience; Experience planning, developing, and managing human resources programs, policies, procedures, and reporting; Ability to work independently and collaboratively; Ability to take responsibility for work productivity and routine issues as they arise while demonstrating effective time management skills; Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; Coordination, organizational skills to perform day-to-day duties; Ability to effectively multi-task; Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, and able to deal with frequent change or unexpected events;
Preferred Qualifications:
2-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a medical setting; Knowledge of local, sate, and federal human resources policies and practices with the ability to properly interpret, communicate, and provide guidance to department members on such policies; Ability to take direction from others, anticipate and resolve problems with limited supervision; Experience working with sensitive and confidential information.
Work Schedule:
The job hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The candidate must be able to work full-time, either in the office or on location.

$26.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
