Job Description
HR Generalist Purpose of the Job The Human Resources Generalist supports a wide variety of HR related activities, including but not limited to areas of benefits, compensation, recruitment, employee relations, and training and development. S/He responsibilities will also include navigating HR databases for all phases of an employee life cycle, including activities related to HRIS systems, benefits, payroll, and projects, ensuring the delivery of human resources services and programs to countries assigned, are supported by the organization at large. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Recruitment & Selection Support and coordinate the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, candidate screening, interview scheduling, offer coordination, and onboarding activities.
- Organize and conduct New Employee Orientation, onboarding, offboarding, and exit interview processes. Assist with the development of position descriptions and updates. HR Operations & Administration Maintain personnel files and ensure records are complete, accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with record retention requirements.
- Update HR systems and records and generate reports as needed.
- Administer, record, and complete payroll information for assigned country offices.
- Process and track all HR-related invoices for the department. Employee Relations, Benefits & Performance Management Ensure effective benefits administration by supporting employees, responding to inquiries, and assisting with benefit claims or concerns; research potential new benefits and providers.
- Support the annual and probationary performance processes for all country offices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the employee handbook, HR policies, procedures, and manuals.
