Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and proactive Staffing & Operations Coordinator to support our growing home health care office in Lynchburg, VA . This role is responsible for managing daily caregiver scheduling and onboarding while also assisting with outreach and growth efforts , including phone-based marketing and relationship-building. You'll play a key role in keeping day-to-day operations smooth while supporting expansion into the Lynchburg and surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, adaptable, and comfortable balancing administrative duties with light outreach. Schedule Part-time (approximately 25 hours/week) Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM Some flexibility based on operational needs Responsibilities Operations & Scheduling Manage and maintain caregiver schedules across assigned cases Coordinate coverage for approximately 400+ weekly care hours Handle call-offs and last-minute schedule adjustments Respond to caregiver and client scheduling needs promptly Communicate with clients regarding staffing updates Onboarding & Administrative Support Coordinate onboarding for new caregivers Collect required documents Initiate background checks Schedule orientation/training Maintain accurate records in scheduling and HR systems Support overall office organization and daily operations Outreach & Growth Support Conduct phone outreach to potential clients and referral sources Assist with community engagement and relationship-building efforts Support marketing initiatives as needed (calls, follow-ups, tracking leads) Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) 1+ year of experience in scheduling, admin, staffing, or customer-facing roles Healthcare or home care experience preferred Strong communication skills (comfortable on the phone is a must) Highly organized with strong multitasking ability Self-starter who can manage responsibilities with minimal supervision Experience with ERSP or similar systems is a plus Compensation & Benefits $17.00 - $19.47 per hour (based on experience) Part-time position (no benefits) Holiday pay eligibility after 90 days Opportunity for growth as the office expands Work Location In-person (Lynchburg, VA)
