We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to add to our growing team. It is the HR Generalist's mission to manage the organization's policies to ensure consistency, drive culture, and retain top team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Organizational leadership: lead the Human Resource department, in terms of day-to-day management of policies as well as setting the department's strategy and growth plans in line with the overall company goals and needs Be a culture carrier for the company, continually reinforcing company values Attract, hire, train, and retain diverse set of A players Identify and fill additional functional roles as our needs evolve Establish clear and concise goals and individual accountabilities to those goals Create career paths for and invest in the professional development of the team Create a repeatable system with operational redundancy Recruiting and onboarding: attract, hire and retain set of A players Manage recruiter's hiring process (description development, postings, phone interviews, onsite coordination, offer letters, drug screens, data entry, benefits administration, employment verification, etc.) Manage employee referral program Facilitate full onboarding orientation and initial training activities Conduct 30-60-90-day check-ins with all new hire employees Employee development & discipline: lead system of professional development and accountability Coordinate quarterly review process & assist in 360 review process Coordinate PIP process, including tracking and record keeping Audit attendance tracking and disciplinary action paperwork Conduct investigations as necessary Assist with union grievance processes Review termination paperwork Lead unemployment or EEOC paperwork and hearings Employee records: ensure proper employee records are maintained Manage Mission-Responsibilities-Outcomes (MRO) employee files and coordinate updates to file Ensure proper paperwork for workers compensation compliance, FMLA compliance, etc. Coordinate any leaves of absence Organize original hard and electronic copies of employee records through HR technology systems Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements and conducting impartial investigations Employee relations: improve employee-employer relations Lead exit interview process and highlight common themes Coordinate total compensation statement preparation, manage process, audit completion Lead annual employee survey, including administration, consolidation of results, and analysis, make recommendations to improve ratings and morale Act as point person for internal benefits questions Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, or related field; OR equivalent experience A minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience Up-to-date knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the leadership team The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Ability to travel across the state monthly Benefits :
