We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on, and collaborative Senior HR Generalist (Bilingual - Spanish/English) to join our Human Resources team. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing and operations environment and enjoys balancing employee support, compliance, recruiting, coaching, and strategic HR partnership. The Senior HR Generalist serves as a trusted resource to leaders and employees across Maglio Companies and plays a key role in supporting employee engagement, workforce stability, operational effectiveness, and organizational growth. Because a large portion of our workforce is Spanish-speaking, this role requires the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Senior Human Resources Generalist who is bilingual in Spanish and English to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will lead key HR initiatives, support employee engagement, and ensure compliance with employment laws. Your expertise will help shape our workforce strategies while fostering a positive workplace culture. Responsibilities Partner with managers and supervisors to address employee relations concerns, workplace issues, coaching, corrective action, investigations, and performance management matters. Support a positive employee environment aligned with Maglio Companies' values and culture. Provide guidance on employment policies, procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws. Assist leaders in conducting effective one-on-ones, documentation, and employee development conversations. Serve as a trusted HR resource for both English- and Spanish-speaking employees and leaders. Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for hourly and salaried positions. Support proactive pipeline building and recruiting partnerships. Conduct interviews and onboarding activities in English and Spanish as needed. Maintain and support HR systems, employee records, and workforce data integrity within Paylocity and related systems. Process and maintain employee status changes including pay changes, promotions, transfers, and organizational updates. Assist with policy development, job descriptions, and HR process improvements. Coordinate leave administration including
FMLA, ADA
accommodations, and return-to-work processes. Support workers' compensation and incident reporting administration as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, food manufacturing workplace standards, and employment regulations. Help foster a workplace culture built on accountability, teamwork, and purposeful communication. Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and leadership development efforts. Assist with training and employee communication initiatives that strengthen organizational culture and leadership effectiveness. Translate or assist with bilingual communication and employee education efforts as needed. Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in all HR matters. Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred. 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, food production, distribution, or operations environments. Experience supporting employee relations, investigations, recruiting, and compliance matters. Fluent bilingual communication skills in Spanish and English (spoken and written) required. Paylocity or HRIS experience strongly preferred. Working knowledge of employment laws including FMLA, ADA, wage and hour, and employee relations practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong judgment, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality. Collaborative mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and support the business.
