Description:
Carnivore Meat Company has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Internship at our Green Bay Corporate office. The HR Internship will allow a qualified student to gain experience in the hands-on the daily duties and fundamentals of a corporate Human Resources department as well as the inner workings of a growing, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
Essential Functions:
Shadow the job responsibilities of the HR roles by sitting in on meetings and assisting with projects to gain a stronger understanding of the functions within an organization. Partner with the team in coordination of the full cycle recruitment and hiring process. Assist with recruitment cycle duties and processes. Assist in HR projects, such as job descriptions, auditing I-9 compliance, benefit participation, and HRIS record keeping. Partner with the HR Team to develop and assist in conducting new hire employee orientation training.
Requirements:
Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program Minimum 3.0 GPA required Participation in the local college chapter SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) preferred
Qualifications:
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Organization and time management skills Strong reasoning, judgment skills Ability to work as a team, coordinating efforts toward organizational goals. Ability to keep all information at a confidential level.
