Responsibilities/Duties This Human Resources Generalist position will handle a wide range of human resources functions including payroll, recruitment, and onboarding and support departmental development. In addition, this position will assist the Human Resources Manager in the areas of benefit administration, employee relations, organizational development, HRIS and policy administration. Manages workflow for payroll process including ensuring all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely, Handles day to day questions and concerns from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Assists and participates in employee investigations and disciplinary meetings as needed. Conducts exit interviews, summarizes data and recommends improvements. Responsible for day to day benefits administration, including new hires, changes, terminations, and open enrollment. Responsible for with leave administration including FMLA, STD, and LTD. Assists HR Team with recruiting, interviews, and selecting employees to fill vacant positions. Assists with New Hire Orientation and Paperwork. Complete Unemployment Paperwork, employment verifications Develop and update job descriptions Update and maintain confidential personnel files and HRIS System (ADP). Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.Working Conditions Indoor and Outdoor Work :
Duties are performed indoor office environments.Standard Office Conditions :
Involves exposure to office environments with heating, air conditioning, and computer operation.Education, Certification, and License Education :
Bachelor s Degree with 1-3 years HR Experience Driver sLicense :
A valid driver s license with a good driving record is necessary. Specific Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience with payroll processing, preferred experience in ADP. Bilingual (Spanish and English), written and verbal communication skills are preferred. Ability to independently research and acquire related knowledge and/or problem solve. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal. Able to maintain high level of confidentiality regarding sensitive employee and Company information. Excellent customer service and diplomacy skills required. Must be self-guided and able to manage time and priorities. Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Must be highly organized and able to prioritize.Physical Requirements Mobility :
Frequently stands, walks, sits, talks, and listens for extended periods.Physical Activity :
Squats, stoops, or kneels; occasionally lifts objects up to 25 pounds.Reaching :
Occasionally required to reach above shoulder level.Vision and Motor Skills :

This is a full-time, year-round exempt position.Work Schedule :
Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, approximately 40-45 hours per week.
