Job Description

The Organizational Design Manager leads, manages, and/or contributes to enterprise-wide organizational design and workforce planning initiatives that support Generac's strategic priorities, operating model evolution, and organizational effectiveness goals. This role partners closely with senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and cross-functional Human Resources teams to diagnose organizational challenges and design scalable, data-informed solutions that enable performance, growth, and sustained change. This position is responsible for the end‑to‑end design, development, and implementation of organizational models, tools, and insights that:
- Enable clear accountability, effective decision-making, and efficient operating structures
- Aligning workforce capacity, capabilities, and structure to current and future business needs
- Support large-scale transformations and strategic change initiatives
- Provide leaders with actionable insights to drive organization and talent outcomes This role delivers organizational design and workforce planning solutions at the enterprise and business-unit level, with impact across global functions.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
