Job Description

Under the direction of the Director of Patient Experience and Engagement, the Nurse Recruiter is responsible for leading and supporting recruitment efforts for nursing staff across the organization. This role partners closely with nursing leadership to identify staffing needs, attract qualified candidates, and guide applicants through the hiring process. The Nurse Recruiter promotes the organization as an employer of choice while ensuring recruitment practices align with regulatory requirements, organizational values, and workforce goals. This position plays a key role in supporting workforce stability, employee engagement, and quality patient care. Lead full-cycle recruitment for nursing positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding coordination Maintain accurate and timely recruitment records, reports, and applicant tracking data Support candidate placement and hiring recommendations based on organizational needs Ensure compliance with licensure, credentialing, and regulatory requirements throughout the hiring process Participate in recruitment events, job fairs, community outreach, and workforce engagement initiatives Promote the organization's employer brand to attract and retain high-quality nursing talent Track recruitment metrics and identify opportunities to improve hiring efficiency and outcomes Serve as a resource to candidates by providing guidance on application status, onboarding steps, and organizational expectations Collaborate with human resources, education, and leadership teams to support retention and workforce planning initiatives Participate in special projects related to recruitment, employee engagement, and workforce development
