Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Recruiter specializing in Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing to support hiring across engineering, production, operations, quality, and supply chain functions. This role will focus on identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent in highly regulated manufacturing environments supporting aerospace, defense, and government programs. The ideal candidate has experience recruiting for complex manufacturing organizations and understands the unique requirements associated with defense contracting, technical skill sets, security clearances, and workforce planning in fast-paced production environments. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruiting for aerospace and defense manufacturing positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination. Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, production schedules, and long-term hiring strategies. Recruit for a variety of positions including: Manufacturing Engineers CNC Machinists Quality Engineers Program Managers Production Supervisors Supply Chain Professionals Assemblers and Technicians Cleared Engineering Talent Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for high-volume and hard-to-fill technical roles. Source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, networking, trade associations, military transition programs, referrals, and recruiting events. Conduct candidate screenings and assess technical qualifications, cultural fit, and clearance eligibility. Coordinate interviews and communicate effectively with candidates throughout the hiring process. Ensure compliance with ITAR, OFCCP, EEOC, and applicable government contracting regulations. Track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, candidate pipeline activity, and hiring effectiveness. Support employer branding initiatives and represent the company at career fairs, industry events, and community outreach programs. Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred. 3+ years of recruiting experience in aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, or industrial environments. Experience recruiting for technical and manufacturing roles in regulated industries. Understanding of defense industry hiring requirements, including security clearances and export compliance considerations. Strong sourcing and interviewing skills. Experience using ATS platforms and LinkedIn Recruiter. Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting government contractors or DoD-related programs. Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, fabrication, assembly, quality systems, or aerospace production operations. Experience recruiting cleared professionals. Knowledge of workforce planning and high-volume manufacturing recruitment strategies.
