Job Description The Staffing Specialist is responsible for posting open positions, managing our applicant tracking system, coordinating onboarding, and preparing reporting. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for hiring managers, and external and internal applicants. They will ensure a successful transition from candidate to team member by facilitating a welcoming on-boarding experience for the candidate. This position is also responsible for monitoring recruiting metrics and updating reports on hiring progress. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure job descriptions and knockout questions are accurate, up to date, and aligned with hiring needs. Post and manage job openings in applicant tracking system and on job boards. Ensure completion of pre-employment requirements (background checks, MVR, etc.) Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires. Support continuous improvement of recruiting and onboarding processes. Prepare and update hiring progress reports. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education High School Experience 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training. Skills Communication Skills Human Resources Systems Spreadsheet Decision Making Planning, organizing, and project management skills. Ability to multi-task, shift priorities, and handle high-pressure time sensitive situations. Handle confidential and/or sensitive information Able to work independently Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid driver's license Preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Bilingual in Spanish Additional Information Knowledge of applicant tracking systems. Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations as they pertain to recruitment and hiring. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization. Ability to uphold strict confidentiality in handling candidate and employee information. Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills
