Job Description
Description We are looking for an HR Recruiter to support hiring efforts for a non-profit organization in Citrus Heights, California. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can manage recruitment activities from initial sourcing through offer coordination while helping teams attract talent with relevant experience. The person in this role will partner with hiring stakeholders, maintain an organized applicant pipeline, and deliver a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment activities for assigned openings, from intake discussions through candidate selection and onboarding coordination.
- Build talent pipelines by proactively identifying prospective candidates through sourcing channels, networking, and targeted outreach.
- Screen applicants to evaluate skills, experience, and overall alignment with position needs and organizational goals.
- Conduct interviews and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to keep searches moving efficiently.
- Partner with leadership and department teams to clarify hiring needs, recommend recruiting strategies, and support timely decision-making.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, activity updates, and workflow progress within the applicant tracking system.
- Prepare and post job advertisements that attract relevant talent and reflect the organization's hiring priorities.
- Support a positive candidate experience by providing clear communication, follow-up, and status updates throughout the hiring process. Requirements
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment in a corporate, agency, or organizational setting.
- Demonstrated ability to source candidates effectively across multiple channels for a variety of roles.
- Hands-on experience conducting candidate screenings and interviews.
- Proficiency using an applicant tracking system to manage requisitions, candidate records, and recruiting workflows.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to organize multiple open positions simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
