Job Description

IDR is seeking a Playtest Operations II to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Los Angeles, CA. In this role, you'll own end-to-end participant recruiting operations for playtests and qualitative research studies, partnering closely with researchers and operations stakeholders to deliver high-quality, on-time recruiting outcomes. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys building reliable processes in a fast-paced, consumer technology / gaming environment while maintaining strong standards around privacy, compliance, and participant experience. Playtest Operations II:
Own end-to-end participant recruiting delivery for playtests and qualitative research, from intake alignment through scheduling, confirmations, and show-rate management Manage participant communications at scale with clear, consistent outreach and follow-ups Partner with researchers to support screener development, sampling approaches, and quota/criteria alignment Track recruiting health signals (e.g., no-shows, replacements, cycle time) and drive practical process improvements Coordinate with external vendors as needed to ensure execution quality and timeline adherence Requirements for the
Playtest Operations II:
3+ years of experience in research operations, user research, participant recruiting, or a closely related role Demonstrated ability to independently manage recruiting logistics across multiple concurrent studies Strong working knowledge of qualitative research recruiting practices (screening, quotas, participant quality controls) Experience managing scheduling, attendance tracking, and incentive workflows with high attention to detail Ability to operate with discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive participant data and supporting privacy/compliance standards What's in it for you?
