Job Description

The Opportunity We are seeking a motivated and experienced Contract Retail Recruiter to support our immediate high-volume hiring needs for general retail staff. This critical, short-term assignment requires a talent acquisition professional who can jump in immediately, manage high candidate volume, and efficiently move talent through the hiring pipeline.
Required Skills & Qualifications Experience:
Proven track record in high-volume recruiting, with specific experience in retail or hospitality environments highly preferred.
Efficiency:
Ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
Adaptability:
A self-starter mindset with the ability to hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up time.
Preferred Qualifications Language Skills:
bilingual proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and/or Spanish is considered a strong asset.
salary:
$40 - $50 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5

Drive full-cycle recruitment for general retail staff positions, ensuring candidate pipelines remain robust and roles are filled quickly.
Sourcing & Screening:
Actively source, review resumes, and conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate fit, experience, and availability.
Interview Coordination:
Schedule and coordinate interviews between qualified candidates and retail hiring managers.
Onboarding Support:
Facilitate the initial onboarding steps for new hires to ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience.
Local Market Engagement:
Leverage knowledge of the San Jose talent market to attract top-tier retail talent.
