9 Temecula, CA Job Details Seasonal $18 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description Assists in achieving the council's corporate goals for girl and adult membership through developing and implementing membership strategies in assigned areas. Works under the supervision of the Membership Growth Manager and in coordination with the Membership Development team to attend events, promote Girl Scouts, present to stakeholders, and capture leads to join. Engages parents, guardians, and interested adults to become troop leaders, helpers, and volunteers. Works in coordination with Community Development Staff to promote memberships in their regions. Travels within GSSGC territory to engage with potential members. Ensure Girl Scouting is open to all girls and adults by delivering the Girl Scouts message of pluralism and diversity to members of the council and supporting the Girl Scouts effort to remove barriers to participation. Optimizes the use of technology, including the customer relationship management system in providing customer service support for potential members. Performs additional duties as assigned to assist in fulfillment of the council's mission and goals. Works interdepartmentally to ensure the achievement of our Council's recruitment goals. Works with a cross-functional team to determine or develop innovative strategies to ensure the effective promotion of the Girl Scout experience and participation. Make telephone calls to the guardians and parents of potential leads for follow up and to finalize membership details. Valid California Driver's License or equivalent, an insured vehicle in good working order, and ability to be insured by council insurance carrier and operate council vehicles is are required. The Seasonal Recruiter is responsible for executing effective recruiting strategies in coordination with the Membership Development team and to increase awareness and participation in Girl Scouting. The Seasonal Recruiter engages in a variety of in-person meetings, presentations, and information sessions with potential Girl Scouts, their parents, educators, faith-based leaders, and other stakeholders in the community. This role is also responsible for recruiting girls and adult volunteers through targeted community events and presentations to generate leads they help to become Girl Scouts.
