Occasionally required, but rare Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and professional Office Coordinator / Staffing Specialist to join our team in Watsonville. The ideal candidate has the ability to communicate effectively in Spanish, possesses excellent customer service skills, and is comfortable communicating with professionals at all levels. This role focuses on recruiting, staffing, onboarding, and building relationships with candidates and clients. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working with people, and is willing to take on new responsibilities as our business grows. Key Responsibilities Recruit, screen, and place candidates for a variety of skilled and non-skilled positions, including professional, technical, administrative, industrial, and general labor roles. Build and maintain a strong network of candidates through referrals, community outreach, job fairs, social media, and other recruiting efforts. Source and develop talent pipelines to meet current and future staffing needs. Conduct interviews and evaluate candidate qualifications and job fit. Match qualified candidates with appropriate job opportunities. Guide applicants through the entire hiring and onboarding process. Verify employment eligibility and complete required hiring documentation. Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding. Maintain regular communication with candidates, employees, and clients to ensure a positive experience. Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Coordinate office activities and support daily administrative operations. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Take on additional duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional demeanor and ability to communicate confidently with clients, candidates, and employees. Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to network, develop business relationships, and attract talent. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer applications. Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, customer service, office administration, or human resources is a plus but not required. What We're Looking For Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
