Glastonbury, CT, USA Position Overview The Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist is responsible for the strategic growth, readiness, and performance of iTi's interpreter network. The primary objective of this role is to drive and increase fill rate by ensuring the organization has the right quantity, quality, and language mix of interpreters available to meet client demand across all geographic regions. Every inbound request is treated with the highest level of urgency and priority, with a clear focus on successful fulfillment through strict adherence to established processes and proactive execution. The TA Specialist plays a dual role: serving as the primary architect of the interpreter pipeline through sourcing and onboarding, while also providing ongoing critical "surge capacity" as part of the Fill Rate team and even more so during peak demand periods. By conducting initial proficiency screenings and managing enrollment in specialized trainings, the TA Specialist ensures that every new linguist is fully prepared and "mission-ready." In this role, the TA Specialist proactively monitors and interprets dashboards to develop a comprehensive understanding of customer demand patterns, partnering closely with their supervisor to adjust recruiting strategies and pivot focus in real time—ensuring the right resources are recruited and deployed effectively to meet evolving business needs. In addition, this individual serves as a key liaison between interpreter suppliers (both independent contractors and third-party vendors) and internal operations, ensuring alignment, engagement, and consistent delivery standards across the network, while contributing to a high-quality and consistent iTi experience for all internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and partners. This role requires exceptional responsiveness and clear communication across all stakeholders, including customers and internal team members. A high sense of urgency, with immediate and proactive responsiveness to all inbound requests, emails, calls, and surges in service demand, is a core expectation, always ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service delivery. Success in this role requires flexibility, accountability, and a proactive solution oriented mindset. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to accommodate shift changes, extended hours, or schedule adjustments based on business needs and operational demand. Responsibilities can extend beyond core duties to include ad hoc projects, cross-functional support, and participation in new initiatives as business needs arise. Team members are expected to contribute to overall business performance, including supporting profitability-focused initiatives. We operate as one team, and team members are expected to step in, support other departments, and take on additional responsibilities as needed and as directed by leadership, including learning new processes or skills to meet evolving business demands and drive collective success. This is an exempt position, and responsibilities may occasionally require work outside of standard business hours, including evenings or weekends, based on operational or client needs. Key Duties and Accountabilities 55% -Strategic Recruitment & Pipeline Development Fill Rate Alignment:
Prioritize recruiting efforts based on real-time fill rate gaps, ensuring sourcing activities directly contribute to increased fulfillment and reduced shortages. Speed toOnboard:
Drive efficiency in the onboarding process by minimizing time from candidate identification to active status, ensuring interpreters are deployed quickly and effectively.Targeted Sourcing:
Use "Heat Maps" and "Gap Reports" to identify specific counties and languages requiring increased interpreter density.Screening & Assessment:
Conduct initial interviews and language proficiency screenings to ensure all applicants meet iTi's high standards for quality and professionalism.Onboarding Excellence:
Lead new interpreters through the full onboarding lifecycle, including credential verification, contract execution, and system orientation.Training Enrollment:
Partner with the Quality Associate to enroll new and existing interpreters into specialized training programs (Medical, Legal, Community) to expand their eligibility for complex assignments.Pipeline Forecasting:
Proactively build and maintain a forward-looking interpreter pipeline aligned with projected demand, ensuring readiness ahead of client needs and seasonal fluctuations.Database & CRM Management:
Ensure accurate and up-to-date interpreter profiles, credentials, and availability within systems to support efficient scheduling and deployment.Continuous Pipeline Optimization:
Regularly evaluate sourcing channels, recruitment strategies, and onboarding processes to improve quality, speed, and overall pipeline performance. 40% -Fill Rate Support Operational Surge Support:
Dedicate scheduled "Power Hours" to assist the Interpreter Liaison team in covering open assignments and improving the daily fill rate.Tactical Sourcing:
Pivot from long-term recruiting to immediate "spot-filling" when business needs or volume thresholds are met, as directed by the Supervisor.Rate Negotiation:
Ensure profitability by negotiating competitive rates for new and existing interpreter contracts/rate cards.End-to-End Fill Ownership:
Take full ownership of assigned requests during surge support, ensuring all possible avenues are exhausted to secure coverage before escalation.High-Urgency Execution:
Act with speed and precision in contacting, confirming, and securing interpreters, minimizing delays and reducing unfilled or at-risk assignments.Real-Time Problem Solving:
Quickly identify barriers to fill (rate, availability, location, specialty) and implement immediate solutions, including alternative sourcing strategies or creative coverage options.Follow-Through & Confirmation:
Ensure all booked assignments are fully confirmed, documented, and communicated to avoid last-minute gaps or service disruptions. Collaboration withOperations:
Work closely with the Interpreter Liaison team to align on priorities, share updates, and ensure seamless handoffs during high-volume periods.Performance Awareness:
Continuously monitor fill performance during support periods and adjust approach in real time to maximize daily fill rate outcomes. 5% -Data Integrity & Workforce Planning Market Analysis:
Monitor "cost-to-fill" trends in specific regions to ensure iTi remains competitive while maintaining profitability. iTi Live Management:
Ensure all new interpreter profiles are 100% complete, including validated credentials and accurate skillset tags.Key Success Metrics Fill Rate Performance:
Consistently meets or exceeds target fill rate by ensuring interpreter supply aligns with real-time and forecasted demand. Pipeline Growth & Readiness & Fill Rate impact: Onboard a consistent pipeline of qualified, "ready-to-work" interpreters who actively contribute to fill rate performance. Success is measured not only by the number of interpreters onboarded, but by their utilization, ability to fulfill assignments, and direct impact on closing geographic and language gaps. Ensure targeted recruitment aligns with demand needs, profitability goals, and improves overall coverage in underserved regions. Time-to-Fill (Support): Impact on fill rate during scheduled support hours.Training Conversion:
Number of existing interpreters who "level up" their skills through enrolled training.Credential Compliance:

Bachelor's degree Communication, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Experience:
Preferred recruiting but will train, talent acquisition, or workforce planning experience, preferably in a high-volume or fast-paced environment.Urgency & Execution:
