Associate Faculty foster learning environments where students feel supported, motivated, and connected to the university community. Through intentional teaching, coaching, and relationship-building in and out of the classroom, they help students develop the skills, confidence, and sense of belonging needed to persist academically and grow into workforce-ready, socially responsible learners.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Post University is seeking experienced, engaging, and student-focused Associate Faculty to teach on-ground courses within our First Year Experience (FYE) program. These courses are designed to support new students in building foundational skills for academic success, personal development, and career exploration. FYE courses emphasize the following outcomes: Promote the exchange of knowledge through discussion, reflection, and collaboration Expand students thinking about themselves, their goals, and their future careers Support students transition from high school to college-level expectations Encourage exploration of identity, purpose, and career interests Provide personalized guidance and consistent encouragement Cultivate belonging, motivation, and engagement within the university community Associate Faculty serve as educators, mentors, and motivators, helping students connect coursework to real-world applications and career pathways while reinforcing that they are capable, valued members of the Post University community. Faculty are expected to provide timely feedback, a supportive presence on campus, and engage in proactive outreach to students who may be at-risk . Facilitate engaging, in-person learning experiences that promote participation, reflection, and growth Establish clear structure, expectations, and routines appropriate for first-year, traditional-aged learners Provide personalized guidance and timely feedback that supports academic progress Proactivelymonitorstudent progress and conduct outreach to at-risk students Foster a supportive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment Collaborate with academicadvisors,student supportstaff, and campus partners to promote student success Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:

Master s degree in Psychology , Education, Communication, Business Administration (MBA), or a related fieldrequired Minimum of 3 years ofin-person or blended teaching experience Experience working with first-generationor traditional-aged collegestudents Strong classroom presence and ability to manage and engage first-year learners PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience teaching First Year Experience (FYE),student success, or transitioncourses Background in advising, mentoring,student life,or student development Familiarity with evidence-based student success practices KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
