Job Description

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Independent Living Systems (ILS). ILS, along with its affiliated health plans known as Florida Community Care and Florida Complete Care, is committed to promoting a higher quality of life and maximizing independence for all vulnerable populations. About the
Role:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the organization's staffing needs. This position is responsible for influencing and implementing effective recruitment strategies that align with the company's goals and mission. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will collaborate with hiring managers to understand their specific requirements and create job descriptions that accurately reflect the roles. Additionally, the role involves building a strong employer brand to attract candidates who are not only qualified but also a good cultural fit. Ultimately, the success of this position is measured by the quality of hires and the efficiency of the recruitment process.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in Talent Acquisition or recruitment, preferably in the health care industry. Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices. Relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP). Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software. Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to hiring.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate commitment to Our Mission and models ILS Experience Standards of Excellence. Implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the organization. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and create detailed job descriptions. Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events. Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills and fit for the organization. Handle the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication. Perform other duties as assigned.
