Comp:
$85-100K plus bonus We're looking for a hands-on Recruiter who thrives in high-volume environments and knows how to find and close skilled trades talent. This is not a people leadership or strategy role. This is for someone who enjoys being in the work — sourcing, screening, and hiring — and can move quickly to fill critical, revenue-generating roles like technicians, installers, and field staff. If you prefer building strategy decks or leading teams, this role is not the right fit. If you like owning a req load, building pipelines, and getting hires across the finish line, you'll do well here. What Success Looks Like You consistently fill technician and field roles quickly and efficiently You manage a high req load (20-30+ roles) without dropping the ball You build pipelines so you're not starting from scratch every time Hiring managers trust you because you deliver candidates, not excuses You know what sourcing channels work — and double down on them You keep candidates engaged and get offers accepted What You'll Do Own full-cycle recruiting for technicians, installers, and field roles Actively source candidates using job boards, referrals, community outreach, and local networks Screen candidates quickly and move them through the process efficiently Partner with hiring managers to understand needs and keep hiring moving Support hiring events, job fairs, and local recruiting efforts Build and maintain pipelines for high-volume and hard-to-fill roles Use Paylocity (or similar ATS) to manage candidates and track progress Keep recruiting activity organized, fast-paced, and results-driven What you Bring 3-6+ years of hands-on recruiting experience (not just managing a team) Experience recruiting skilled labor / blue-collar roles (HVAC, plumbing, construction, manufacturing, etc.) is highly preferred. Proven ability to manage a high volume of open roles at once Strong sourcing skills — you don't rely on applicants alone Comfortable working in a fast-paced, no-excuses environment Experience with an ATS (Paylocity a plus, not required) Willingness to be in-office and travel locally as needed Who this Role is NOT for: Candidates looking to manage a team or step into leadership immediately Candidates focused primarily on strategy, employer branding, or TA transformation Candidates who prefer low req loads or highly structured environments Nice to Have Experience in residential services or multi-location businesses Existing relationships with trade schools or local talent pipelines Bilingual (Spanish/English) What we offer: At John C.
