In this energetic role, you will be the driving force behind sourcing, engaging, and hiring skilled electricians and other trade professionals across diverse industries. As a key player in our recruitment efforts, you'll leverage your bilingual communication skills to reach a broader talent pool and ensure a seamless hiring experience. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your recruiting expertise while making a tangible impact on our organization's success. Duties Source and attract qualified trades candidates through various channels including social media management, job boards, and cold calling. Conduct comprehensive interviews to assess technical skills, experience, and cultural fit for trades roles. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle using applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as iCIMS or Workday, ensuring accurate candidate data and timely follow-up. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal hiring managers and external partners to understand staffing needs and deliver tailored talent solutions. Negotiate employment contracts, salary packages, and benefits with candidates while ensuring compliance with employment & labor law standards. Lead campus recruitment initiatives to attract emerging trades talent from technical schools and training programs. Coordinate employee orientation sessions, onboarding processes, and employee evaluation procedures to ensure smooth integration of new hires. Skills Exceptional communication skills in both English and [second language], with the ability to engage candidates effectively across diverse backgrounds. Proven experience in technical recruiting within trades industries such as construction, manufacturing, or maintenance. Strong negotiation skills to close offers confidently while maintaining positive relationships. Knowledge of HR sourcing tools like Workday, Paychex, ADP, UltiPro, Taleo, and HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft or SAP. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) including iCIMS or Lever for efficient candidate management. Understanding of employment & labor law regulations to ensure compliant hiring practices. Ability to research market trends and lead generation strategies for talent acquisition success. Experience in relationship management, employee relations, and succession planning to support long-term staffing goals.
