We're looking for an organized, people-focused, and motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR or recruiting career who wants hands-on experience, ownership, and exposure to both Talent Acquisition and Human Resources operations. What You'll Do Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus) Support full-cycle recruiting across multiple open positions Source candidates through job boards, outreach, referrals, and community engagement Conduct phone screens and coordinate interviews Partner with hiring managers to move candidates through the hiring process Help create a positive and professional candidate experience Manage recruiting activity and maintain accurate ATS records Assist with hiring events and recruiting initiatives HR Support (Secondary Focus) Support onboarding and new hire transitions Maintain employee records and HR documentation Assist with employee questions and day-to-day HR support Support compliance and consistent HR practices across departments What We're Looking For 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, recruiting, or a related field Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Experience with ATS or HRIS systems is a plus Understanding of Hawai'i's local workforce and culture preferred Why Join HFA?
