Full Job Description Position Type:
Temporary, 30-40 hours per week

$24.00 per hour

Approx. 80% Recruiting | 20% Other Human Resource Responsibilities as Assigned Job Description A Southern Wisconsin higher learning institution is seeking a motivated and organized Employment Recruiter to support the Human Resources Department on a temporary basis. This full-time role will focus on recruiting, screening, and coordinating interviews for all non-faculty hires for various departments on campus. The ideal candidate will be professional, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple hiring priorities. Key Responsibilities Post job advertisements on recruitment platforms, college websites, and community job boards. Source, screen, and interview candidates. Partner with hiring managers and campus departments to schedule first and second round interviews. Coordinate candidate communication and hiring processes. Conduct reference checks. Maintain accurate applicant and recruitment records within HR systems. Ensure compliance with employment laws, hiring procedures, and confidentiality standards. Provide excellent customer service to applicants, employees, and department representatives. Assist with additional human resources and recruitment-related projects as assigned. Qualifications Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 3+ years of experience in employment recruiting. Higher education or public-sector employment recruitment experience is a plus. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and online recruiting systems. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

$24.00 per hour
