TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST JOB DESCRIPTION
Talent Acquisition Specialist Responsibilities:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting and hiring top talent for retail and restaurant positions. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will focus on recruiting positions for the retail locations including convenience stores, liquor stores, smoke shops, car washes, and restaurants. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will build a strong pipeline of candidates, ensuring staffing needs are met and creating seamless candidate experience. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will report directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager. Talent Acquisition Specialist duties will include but are not limited to:Maintain job requisitions on the applicant tracking systemExploit all opportunities to recruit talent through attending job fairs and actively searching for qualified applicants on community job boards, social media, and industry specific resourcesScreen new applicants and conduct a minimum of 70 phone screens per week Schedule and coordinate interviews with store managers, district managers and restaurantsEnsure timely communication with candidates throughout the hiring processAssist with offer letter and onboarding new hires to ensure a smooth transition into their roleProvide clear, consistent updates on the recruiting pipeline to the retail and restaurant hiring managers and Talent Acquisition ManagerDemonstrate a sense of urgency in facilitating the hiring process to ensure timely onboarding of candidates
Experience/Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree Minimum two (2) years of experience in retail and restaurant recruitingProactive and independent with the ability to take initiative Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tacticsExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesPreferred Skills:
Knowledge of and experience with HRIS recruiting platformHours:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a full time position and works a minimum of 40 hours a weekSalary/Income:
