ABOUT SLATE

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier manufacturing talent to support our company's growth and innovation. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruiting and sourcing strategies to secure the best candidates, particularly for hard-to-fill roles. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment process while also driving proactive sourcing efforts, market research, and passive candidate engagement. You will utilize tools such as Workday (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and AI sourcing platforms (e.g., GEM) to build strong pipelines.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, skills, and experience needed for open positions Conduct intake meetings to align on job requirements, expectations, and timelines Develop and execute recruitment and sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates through multiple channels (job boards, social media, networking, referrals, etc.) Execute targeted search strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, databases, and other sourcing platforms Perform talent mapping and competitor research to identify potential candidates and target organizations Manage the ATS (Workday), including job postings, candidate tracking, reporting, and pipeline management Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring teams, ensuring a seamless and efficient process Conduct thorough interviews (technical and behavioral) to assess candidate qualifications and fit Build and maintain strong pipelines of active and passive candidates for current and future needs Provide a positive candidate experience through clear communication and timely feedback Monitor and meet Talent Acquisition KPIs to measure effectiveness of both sourcing and recruiting efforts Stay up to date with industry trends, talent market insights, and emerging recruiting technologies Collaborate with HR team members on initiatives such as employer branding, diversity and inclusion, and process improvement
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 5-8 years of recruiting and sourcing experience, with a strong focus on high-volume manufacturing hiring (salaried roles) Manufacturing and automotive experience required; EV experience preferred Proven ability to source and recruit for hard-to-fill and technical roles Strong understanding of hourly manufacturing roles, as well as technical and engineering skill sets Experience with applicant tracking systems; Workday required, Greenhouse preferred 5+ years of LinkedIn Recruiter experience with strong passive candidate engagement skills Experience using AI sourcing tools such as GEM, SeekOut, or similar platforms Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated ability to build relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and external partners Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices
