Job Description

Recruiter Summary:
The Recruiter will work closely with the Director of Workforce Development and management to perform HR-related duties on a professional level. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, attend job fairs and recruiting events, I-9 verifications, on-boarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Source candidates via HRIS, job boards, social media, referrals, and targeted outreach Review resumes and applications for all applicants Pre-screen job applicants by phone and schedule applicants to interview with department management Assess candidate skills and fit, present qualified shortlists with clear recommendations Coordinate pre-employment testing; fitter/welding tests, drug screens, physical, run background checks Manage applicant tracking system (postings, candidate status updates, reporting) Conduct employment verifications and communicate job offer details Maintain confidentiality of all personnel related issues Draft and optimize job descriptions and job postings Complete I9s and enter new hire information into computer database (UKG) Maintain and update electronic files and employee information in databases Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs Support any other special projects and HR as needed. Willingness and ability to travel regularly to job fairs and recruiting events Experience and Skills 1-3 years Recruiter experience Manufacturing experience preferred Familiarity with HRIS Applicant Tracking Systems preferably UKG Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Excellent organization, time management, and ability to multitask Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information professionally Customer-service mindset and ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers. Work Environment/Physical Demands Office-based role using standard office equipment. Primarily sedentary with occasional filing and light lifting (up to 10 lbs). Occasional travel to job fairs and recruiting events
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week.
