Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM•5:00 PM EST (Hybrid) Job Summary We are seeking a proactive Technical Recruiter to identify, engage, and hire high-caliber technology professionals for our enterprise IT organization. They will be aligning business needs with technical talent, overseeing the full recruitment lifecycle for both full-time and contract positions across over 125 state agencies. Key Responsibilities Independently manage a diverse requisition load of full-time and contract technical openings from intake to offer. Conduct intake sessions to define job requirements and core competencies, serving as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders. Develop and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, and industry events to engage passive talent. Screen resumes and conduct in-depth phone interviews to assess technical qualifications and cultural alignment. Collaborate with managers to refine job descriptions for clarity, accessibility, and search engine optimization (SEO). Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring timely communication and a high-touch, positive experience. Facilitate interview scheduling and streamline the feedback collection process to maintain efficient hiring timelines. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all recruitment activities within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Be organizational representative at career fairs and networking functions to promote the employer brand and build talent pipelines. Provide regular updates to leadership regarding pipeline health, recruitment challenges, and market trends. Ensure all hiring activities adhere to public sector recruitment guidelines and applicable employment policies. Contribute to ongoing initiatives aimed at improving sourcing strategies and the overall candidate journey. Required Skills & Qualifications 1-3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably in a technical environment. Familiarity with roles such as Software Developers, Cybersecurity, and IT Infrastructure. Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Exceptional oral and written skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced setting. Must pass a Criminal Background Check (CORI) and Fingerprinting/Security Clearance. Ability to build strong partnerships with hiring managers and influence hiring decisions. Creative thinking skills to adapt to changing recruitment needs and talent market shifts. Meticulous documentation and task management skills. A strong commitment to providing a seamless experience for both candidates and internal teams.
