Job Description
Our client in Massachusetts is seeking a Geriatrics Physician for a 15-day assignment beginning Jun 22, 2026. This role involves seeing patients for 5-6 flexible hours daily at assisted living facilities, focusing on initial evaluations, managing chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension, handling higher acuity cases, and collaborating with the rehab team to ensure comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities and Duties See all patients at assisted living facilities at least once per month Review prior notes with staff to prioritize patient visits Consult with the rehab team to share patient updates Conduct initial evaluations for new arrivals Manage ongoing illnesses, including diabetes and hypertension, and higher acuity cases Handle admissions and discharges for residents
