We have been in business for 20 years and have offices in Michigan, Texas and Europe. We are looking for an in-house Recruiter to ensure we attract, hire, and retain people who contribute to our company's growth. This position will recruit mainly Drivers, but also recruit for office and operations personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Human Resources and managers of various departments to define the company's employment needs and structure the recruitment plan for both hourly and salary positions
• Work with management on hiring goals
• Recruit candidates on job boards, resume databases, and professional networks
• Screening applicants for suitability, including conducting background checks and drug screenings
• Interview candidates at various stages of the hiring process including phone and in-person interviews
• Responsible for the onboarding process
• Human Resource duties include maintaining employee files, keeping track of benefit eligibility and PTO, ensuring compliance with Form I-9, and other duties as assigned
• Manages and tracks all employee disciplinary action

Qualifications:

• Human Resource degree is preferred
• Proven track record of recruitment
• Strong interviewing skills
• Experience with social media recruiting sites such as LinkedIn and Indeed
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to lead new hires through onboarding
