Job Title:

Online Advisor

General Summary:

This position is responsible for providing student support and advising to online degree seeking students. Advisors are assigned specific programs for advising, and may have up to 300 active online students.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

30%

• Advise students in online programs 30%
• Track student progress and address concerns throughout their enrollment 20%
• Maintain accurate, up to date files on all advisees 10%
• Work closely with CLAS and CGES admissions departments 10%
• Attend recruiting events as needed Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree is required, Master's degree is preferred Experience working with online students, and staff in a team environment. Experience working with Microsoft Office products.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Sitting for extended periods of time working on a computer. Must be able to speak in a clear voice for telephone calls
