Sheridan Community Hospital is seeking a motivated and organized Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support our growing workforce needs. As critical access hospital serving a rural community, this role plays a key part in ensuring we attract and onboard high-quality candidates who support our mission of delivering compassionate, high-quality care close to home.Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator manages the day-to-day recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for candidates and new hires. This role works closely with hiring managers, HR, and leadership to meet staffing needs efficiently and compliantly.Responsibilities:
Coordinate full cycle recruitment activities including job postings, candidate communication, and interview scheduling Assist hiring managers in reviewing candidates and coordinating interviews. Manage pre-employment processes including background checks, fingerprinting, and physicals. Track onboarding progress and ensure timely completion of all requirements. Process new hires in HR systems (Paycom) including I-9 and E-Verify. Coordinate and assist with new hire orientation. Request IT access and ensure new employees are set up for success. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Support job fairs and community outreach efforts.Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred. 1-3 years of HR, recruiting, or administrative experience preferred. Healthcare experience is a plus. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High level of attention to detail and confidentiality. Why Join Us?
