They are searching for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will build and own recruiting efforts across the business. WDS specializes in producing and hauling aggregate materials (sand, gravel, crushed stone) that support large-scale infrastructure and construction projects across the U.S.—the kind of work that quite literally builds the roads and development around us. This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact role where you'll have real ownership, direct exposure to leadership, and the ability to shape recruiting as the company continues to scale. What You'll Do Proactively source and engage candidates (Indeed, outreach, etc.) Lead initial phone screens and manage candidate pipelines Partner closely with operations to understand hiring needs tied to project load Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and manage offers Build relationships with candidates—before roles even open What We're Looking For 2-5+ years of recruiting or sales experience Comfortable with high-volume outreach and fast-paced environments Organized, proactive, and personable Someone who takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told what to do If you enjoy building relationships, moving quickly, and want the chance to create something from the ground up, this could be a great fit.
