Entry Level Recruiter Job Classification:
Full-Time Exempt Purpose Statement:
The entry level recruiter is responsible for ensuring timely candidate sourcing, supporting the onboarding process, and promoting organizational growth through effective recruitment efforts.
Reports to:
Recruiting and Retention Manager Responsibilities:
Schedule Phone Screens for Recruiting and Retention Manager to follow up with new applicants. Partner with Recruiting and Retention Manager to understand contractor requirements, needs and timelines. Follow up with incomplete applications. Ensure a positive contractor experience throughout the recruitment process. Coordinate pre-employment processes including background checks, offer letters, and new hire documentation. Archive inactive or unresponsive applicants to support an organized and effective recruitment process. Monitor onboarding effectiveness and contractor engagement during their first 60 days. Ensure recruitment and onboarding practices comply with labor laws and company policies. Maintain accurate credentialing records and applicant tracking systems (ATS). Collaborate with Recruiting and Retention Manager on a weekly basis to forecast onboarding needs. Recommend improvements to onboarding processes based on data and feedback. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Strong knowledge in recruiting, human resources, or administrative support preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills required. Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms is preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
