Job Description:
Talent Acquisition & Management Specialist Role Summary:
The Talent Acquisition & Management Specialist is responsible for the organization's full life cycle recruitment initiatives, onboarding, and professional development programs. Partners with leadership to develop talent attraction and retention strategies. This role requires the demonstrated ability to cultivate and manage business relationships with Hiring Managers, providing recruitment expertise and service excellence across all operating companies.
The Successful Candidate will:
Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable laws and company policies regarding recruitment, data privacy, and hiring practices. Demonstrate the ability to articulate complex feedback to candidates and manage sensitive candidate challenges, including conflict resolution. Develop innovative and targeted sourcing initiatives to build a high-quality pipeline for specialized or leadership roles. Maintain an active professional network and represent the company in professional organizations to build our employer brand. Manage vendor relationships and third-party recruitment partners to support high-volume or specialized staffing needs. Lead and implement assessments and other talent development tools.
Additional Recruiting & Talent Responsibilities:
Oversee job postings and identify high-level talent through advanced search techniques. Lead the interview process from phone screens to final offers, utilizing sales and negotiation skills to "close" top-tier candidates. Manage the customized onboarding experience, collaborating with managers to ensure new hires are integrated quickly and effectively into their specific business units. Assist the department in brainstorming and implementing new strategies for attracting quality talent to fill immediate and future staffing needs. Build expertise in assigned business units to anticipate staffing needs through proactive workforce planning and organizational development. Liaise with employees on Employee Relations, ensuring career mapping objectives are communicated and professional growth concerns are appropriately addressed. Special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
4-year college degree required. 1-3 years of experience in recruitment, with a proven track record of sales and "closing" experience in a staffing or corporate environment. Demonstrated ability to develop strong business relationships and manage the expectations of senior leadership. Staffing management and strategic planning experience is preferred. Strong critical thinking, efficient time management, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Mature emotional intelligence and the judgment necessary to handle complex employee and candidate situations.
