HR Coor./Recruiter
QUALIFICATIONS
: Experience with recruitment tools Experience as a recruiter in another organization OR experience working in an educational environment Bachelor's degree required Ability to travel regularly to career fairs, college campuses, and other recruitment events within the region.
PRIMARY FUNCTION
: This role is responsible for developing and executing outreach strategies to source teachers, instructional leaders, and operations staff for our four schools in Camden, NJ. They will ensure a strong pipeline of candidates by managing relationships with key universities and organizations both locally and nationally (including HBCUs and HSIS); attending in-person and virtual career fairs and events; managing communications with key organizations and leveraging recruitment tools to headhunt and identify strong potential candidates. Implement on-campus recruitment events and initiatives (career fairs, information sessions, panels, professional learning, etc.) Use recruitment tools (applicant tracking systems, resume databases, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Handshake, and spreadsheets) to source high-quality talent Identify, establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with local and national organizations that provide high quality and diverse talent for our schools Strengthen communication and relationships with school leaders and Selection recruiters to assess short and long-term talent needs and trends Manage Onboarding Process Support the Human Resource Office functions
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Ability to develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate goals, strategies, projects, and initiatives Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and responsibilities Proven ability to take multiple perspectives to solve challenges in real-time Ability to utilize data to inform practices and build short-term and long-term goals Ability to collect and apply input from managers or team members to achieve strong results Ability to self-reflect and self-assess workstreams Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to learn quickly and take initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic, ambitious environment
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
: 12-month contracted position. Salary, hours & work year to be determined by Board in consultation with Lead Person.
EVALUATION
Annually according to state statute and rule and Board policy.
SALARY GRADE/RANGE
: Start at $60,00.00
