Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team! This is a perfect entry-level role for those looking for a flexible part-time opportunity, either while in school other commitments. In this role, you will be working alongside our lead Recruiter with sourcing, outreach, interviews, job postings, and more. There will be plenty of learning and collaborative opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact by shaping our workforce and supporting our company's success. Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive recruiting strategies to attract candidates across multiple industries. Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines, track progress, and generate reports for hiring metrics. Conduct thorough interviews, sourcing strategies, and phone screenings to evaluate candidate fit. Engage in active talent sourcing through social media management, cold calling, research, and leveraging platforms. Negotiate offers confidently with candidates while maintaining positive relationships throughout the hiring process. Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, craft compelling job descriptions, and streamline the employment process in compliance with employment & labor law standards. Support onboarding activities such as employee orientation, contracts management, employee evaluation processes, and employee relations initiatives to ensure a seamless transition for new hires. Skills Must be experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, and Sheets, along with Zoom and LinkedIn. Experience with job boards and sites is preferred. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and manage relationships effectively across all levels of the organization. Growing understanding of HR sourcing strategies including social media management and lead generation methods. Knowledge of employment & labor law to ensure compliance throughout the recruitment lifecycle. Ability to conduct interviews confidently while assessing technical skills and cultural fit accurately. Familiarity with training & development programs as well as succession planning initiatives to support long-term talent growth. From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 15.0 per week
