SUMMARY:
Azurite Professional Community is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Recruiter for its Albuquerque, NM office. The HR Recruiter will develop and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates for the company and its subsidiaries. This position supports recruitment, candidate screening, hiring, onboarding, new hire paperwork, HRIS and talent management, employee relations, training, personnel administration, reporting, policy implementation, safety, and employment law compliance. Partner with the marketing team to design and launch recruitment marketing strategies and employer branding initiatives that elevate the company's market presence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage day-to-day recruiting activities for the company and its subsidiaries. Develop and implement effective sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection strategies. Partner with hiring managers to prepare requisitions, job descriptions, interview plans, offers, and hiring decisions. Coordinate job postings, candidate communications, pre-employment screenings, offer letters, and new hire paperwork. Support onboarding, orientation, HRIS updates, recruiting reports, and headcount tracking. Build and maintain recruiting partnerships with colleges, universities, job fairs, and industry events. Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, I-9, E-Verify, WOTC, MVR, and other hiring requirements. Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, personnel files, and recruitment documentation. Stay current on HR best practices, employment regulations, recruiting trends, and talent management tools. Maintain a positive and transparent candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding. Support the company's brand through social media, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and community engagement. Perform other related duties as assigned while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and strong working relationships.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. A minimum of 5 years of recruiting/talent acquisition experience is required. Ability to manage HRIS or talent management system. SHRM certification a plus. Knowledge of employment laws and hiring compliance practices. Excellent communication and writing skills required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass the drug test.
