Job Title:
Part-Time Recruiter (24 hrs/week) Job Description As a recruiter, you will play a crucial role in identifying and attracting top talent. Your responsibilities will include screening resumes and applications against defined hiring criteria, coordinating interviews, pre-employment steps, and candidate communications. You will also schedule new-hire orientations, prepare orientation materials, and maintain accurate recruiting activity records while compiling weekly updates. Additionally, you will support hiring events such as job fairs and onsite interview days, coordinate onboarding tasks with IT, Payroll, and Facilities, conduct new-hire orientations, and maintain employee files. You will assist with offboarding processes and exit interview logistics, uphold confidentiality and data integrity, coordinate training logistics, and facilitate engagement activities. Collaboration across HR, Talent Acquisition, and plant operations to streamline workflows is essential. Responsibilities Screen resumes and applications against defined hiring criteria. Demonstrate action orientation and effective prioritization. Essential Skills Recruiting Screening Sourcing Interviewing Coordination ATS Talent acquisition Candidate screening Candidate tracking software Applicant tracking Additional Skills & Qualifications 1-2+ years of experience in recruiting or HR within a manufacturing plant environment (TA/Recruiting experience strongly preferred). Proficiency with MS Office. Familiarity with ATS/HRIS and job boards. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Effective listening and attention to detail in a fast-paced, production-oriented context. Ability to confidently interact with candidates, employees, and leadership in person and virtually. Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity. Work Environment This is a 3-month contract position designed to support a ramp-up phase. The role is part-time, requiring 24 hours per week spread over 5 days during the first shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of East Aurora, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
