Job Description

Overview Coordinates with assigned Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialists to acquire the best candidates for current and future vacancies with an end goal of retaining high quality talent and onboarding. Implements best in class practices to drive our talent acquisition strategy, through marketing tools and sourcing of our internal talent pool and utilizing optimal sourcing networks for external candidates. Assists with other priority job vacancy needs and responsible for the documentation and onboarding of new hires. Performs clerical and administrative duties for Talent Acquisition team. Assists with other related HR projects as needed. Responsibilities Screens applicants by telephone and emails and schedules/coordinates interviews for the Talent Acquisition team. Assists in maintaining recruitment database by entering and updating all information pertaining to candidates and applicants. Responsible for the documentation and onboarding of candidates/New Hires Prepares internal job postings for the agency to ensure that all existing employees have the necessary information to apply for open positions. Assists Talent Acquisition Team in reviewing employee files for potential internal transfers Compiles the weekly recruiting tallies and prepares correspondence for executive management. Participates in other special projects, committees or assignments as requested by management and leadership. Maintains/orders office supplies Qualifications High School diploma required; Bachelors preferred Previous experience in human resources field preferred Excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills required Proven ability in assessing and screening candidates and providing strong administrative support Proven ability to provide quality customer service in a high volume, fast paced environment managing multiple projects. Demonstrated competency in intermediate to advanced level proficiency in all Microsoft Suite applications. Must be willing to travel throughout Long Island and the near vicinity.
