Recruiter

Due to our growth resulting from customer demand Westaff is looking for a Recruiter to join our team. This is a wonderful opportunity to work closely with our customers and associates in Plattsburgh, New York. What you will do in the Recruiter position: Using your knowledge of recruiting techniques you will source, screen, and evaluate candidates so you can make excellent hiring decisions; Collaborate with the team to create a high energy results-oriented culture; Manage job posting through social media and job boards; Develop and grow relationships with community organizations to attract new candidates; Visit with and tour client work locations to gain an understanding of the work requirements; Manage and retain exciting associates by providing opportunities for work and skill-building as well as responding to their questions and concerns; Gain and use your full understanding of our client's staffing needs, you will select and assign associates to positions that meet and exceed the associate's and clients needs and expectations; Ensuring that both the associate and the client are highly satisfied during the assignment and provide coaching for the associate when needed.

Qualifications for the Recruiter position:

Recruiting, hiring, and coordinating experience are a plus however we will train; Able to work in a fast-paced environment while producing quality results; Proficiency with Microsoft products to include Outlook, Word, and TEAMS; The ability to travel to local customers and recruit event locally is required; Although we work a typical day you must be flexible to work later if needed; Ability to pass a drug test and background check and credit history reviewed; Bilingual English/Spanish would be a plus, but not required.
