Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Recruiter to support hiring efforts for a Contract position based in Columbus, Ohio. This role will manage recruitment activities from talent identification through offer coordination, with a focus on building strong candidate pipelines and maintaining an organized hiring process. The ideal candidate brings a proactive approach to sourcing, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and guiding candidates through the hiring process.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future openings, with particular attention to high-volume staffing needs.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, align on candidate profiles, and recommend effective recruiting strategies.
  • Use applicant tracking systems to manage job postings, candidate records, interview scheduling, and hiring documentation accurately.
  • Identify and engage talent with relevant experience through multiple channels such as job boards, referrals, networking, and direct outreach.
  • Coordinate interviews and communicate regularly with candidates and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth and timely process.
  • Monitor recruiting progress and provide updates on pipeline activity, hiring challenges, and market feedback.
  • Support recruiting efforts related to construction and field-based roles when needed, adapting outreach methods to the target talent pool.
  • Contribute to process improvements that strengthen recruiting efficiency, consistency, and overall candidate experience. Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in recruiting, including full-cycle talent acquisition responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing candidates in high-volume hiring environments.
  • Hands-on experience using an applicant tracking system to manage recruiting workflows.
  • Background recruiting for construction or construction-related roles is strongly preferred.
  • Strong ability to communicate professionally with candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional partners.
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities at the same time.
  • Knowledge of recruiting strategies, sourcing methods, and best practices for candidate engagement.
