Our mission is to provide exceptional service to our customers while fostering a supportive and professional environment for our employees. We are headquartered in Hilliard, OH, with additional locations in Chillicothe, Cincinnati, and Dayton. Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruitment Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial for our continued growth, focusing on attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent across our diverse departments. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, organized, and charismatic professional with a passion for connecting people with opportunities and building talent pipelines from the ground up. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (80%) Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for all positions, from entry-level to management, including Plumbers, Electricians, HVAC Technicians, Inside/Outside Sales Representatives, and Call Center/Dispatch personnel. Proactively recruit for and promote our internal development program, Eco University ("Eco U") . Actively create and maintain a waitlist and pipeline of individuals with the "want it, get it, can do it" attitude for our trades program. Partner with department managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Source candidates using a variety of methods, including online job boards, social media, career fairs, and networking events. Cultivate and maintain relationships with high schools, alternative, and post-secondary educational institutions. Conduct phone screens and initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit. Manage a high volume of open requisitions, especially during peak hiring seasons. Extend job offers and negotiate terms of employment. Human Resources & Learning & Development (20%) Assist with the new-hire onboarding process, including conducting background checks and managing new-hire paperwork. Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement and employee relations as needed. Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records. Various other tasks as assigned Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of direct-hire recruiting experience, with a strong preference for experience within the skilled trades or residential services industry. A minimum of one year of hands-on experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Proven experience in high-volume recruiting in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated proficiency with creative sourcing strategies beyond traditional job boards, including social media (LinkedIn, Facebook), professional networking, and cold outreach. Experience using data and metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source of hire) to optimize the recruiting process. A strong understanding of the skilled trades and the ability to speak credibly with technicians and apprentices is highly preferred. Proficient with using computers, various software programs, and Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc.). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Energetic, outgoing, and charismatic personality. Ability and willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time to other locations for recruitment events, networking, and to visit our teams. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
